How to Write an Agile Coach Resume

Follow these steps to create an agile coach resume:

  1. Decide on a suitable resume format. For an experienced agile consultant, a reverse-chronological resume is the way to go. Start with your most recent job; keep in mind that your resume should go back 10–15 years, not more.

  2. Select one of the best resume templates, or map out the formatting yourself. Left-align, set 1–1.5 line spacing and standard one-inch resume margins on all sides; pick a readable font for your resume (10–12 pts).

  3. Create a solid structure for your resume by separating resume sections with visible headings.

  4. Make a prominent resume header. Add your name, title, and contact information.

  5. Write a resume summary. This is arguably the most important section, and it has to contain your most important accomplishments and qualifications.

  6. Describe your work experience. Tailor your resume to the job ad, and only include relevant, measurable results to keep your resume under one page. A two-page resume is acceptable for candidates with 10+ years of relevant work experience

  7. Mention your education. Your education section should include your highest degree.

  8. Add key skills you need for the job. More on that is below.

  9. Feature extra information on your resume (if necessary). These work great for ongoing education, a list of certifications, or language skills.

  10. Proofread and save. Download your resume as a PDF to keep it intact across devices.
